Best Skyrim Mods

1. Nude Females
This mod removes the underwear from female characters, and adds what should be under the underwear.

2. Large Address Aware patch
Skyrim does not make full use of your system's abilities. If you have more then 2gb of RAM I suggest you follow this tutorial.

3. Simple Borderless Window

Simple Borderless Window makes Skyrim run in a false fullscreen mode, allowing for the easy alt tabbing of windowed mode but while still keeping your screen full of wonderful landscapes.

4. Enhanced Night Sky

This is a new edition of my Enhanced Night Sky mod, modified for the icy lands of Skyrim. It's a high resolution texture replacement for the night sky taken from real starfield photography. This will not affect the appearance of constellations (yes, the game has constellations finally!) which are contained in another file - this will simply enhance the backdrop for a much denser starfield.

5. Fix Shadows
This might not be the end-all be-all to shadow fixes, but it should improve your shadows significantly.

6. Enhanced Blood Textures
The default blood textures are absolutely ridiculous. Enhanced Blood Textures improves them big time.

7. FXAA Post Process Injector
Enhance your graphics with FXAA and a slew of post processing effects, including bloom, sharpen, technicolor, sepia, tonemap, vignette, and more. Download it here.
These are my favorites so far. Feel free to suggest any other mods in the comment section below!

How to get married in Skyrim

Find Maramal in Riften at The Temple of Mara. Sometimes he is speaking at The Been and Barb. Tell him you want to marry someone. If you don't have one yet, buy an Amulet of Mara from him for 200 gold.

Equip the amulet and people you can marry will have a new dialogue option.

Now go to the Temple of Mara and arrange a wedding.

Your wife will now stay in your house to cook you shit :D  Lesbian and gay couples are possible.

Edit: 'After the Marriage, your partner will ask where do you want to live and you will have the choice of living with them, or if you have a house, live there. If your spouse relocates to a different City from where they originated to live in one of your houses, they may indicate that they wish to become a shopowner to keep occupied while you are adventuring. If this occurs, you can ask them once a day how the shop is going to receive a share of the profits (approximately 100 gold per 24 hours). You will also be able to buy and sell from/to your spouse as would a regular merchant NPC.

Once a day, you can ask a spouse to cook something for you. They will make a Homemade Meal that increases the regeneration of magicka, health, and stamina. If you sleep in the house with your spouse, you will get a temporary bonus called, 'Lover's Comfort' that boosts your rate of skill-learning by 15% for eight hours.'

How to kill a dragon

Dragons seem to spawn randomly, pretty much everywhere. Killing regular dragons is quite easy if you do it right, and reward you materials for making dragon armor, as well as souls for unlocking 'shouts'. What I suggest is using archery. I'm leveled up pretty high in archery so I do a lot of damage, but I think this would be the easiest method for any character. If you stand your ground, take note that dragons can use a variety of Shout powers, including fire breathing and ice breathing, among others. Oftentimes you can even lure dragons over to other enemies, preferably a more rugged enemy like a Giant, to trick the two (or three) into fighting each other, allowing you to sit back and deliver the killing blow when the time is right. Followers also prove to be fruitful in their efforts to defend you and themselves, as they typically draw the dragon's ire unto themselves to keep the heat off you.

Get behind cover when the dragon uses a shout power (such as fire or ice breathing).
So basically:
  • Use your bow.
  • Keep a distance.
  • Try luring the dragon to other NPC's.
  • When the dragon is flying around just wait for it to land. Don't waste your arrows.
  • If you get hurt, get into cover and use your healing magic :)

Skyrim Dragon Armor Tutorial

The dragon armor is the strongest armor in Skyrim. You will need to kill dragons to collect scales and bones. I suggest buying a house so you can store these materials along the way. Don't sell them!

You need reach smith level 100. To do this easily you need to buy lots of iron gots and leather strips go on blacksmith forge to build iron daggers. Repeat the process to make your smith level up. When your smith reaches level 100 use the perks on smithing until the dragon armor, after you do that go on workbench and use more dragon scales and bones to improve the armor.
